In my lastest podcast episode – the last solo episode of season 1 of The Rooted Podcast – I talk about Embodied Leadership in practice and what it looks like in our day-to-day to lead others and be of service while being deeply rooted in the wisdom of our body and nervous system.

I talk about the practice of slowing down while living within systems that ask us to keep going, to push through, to keep up. I reflect on what this false sense of urgency costs us, and how easy it is to disconnect from our own humanity and aliveness in order to do it all.

I bring my curiosity around leadership and changework that is deeply rooted in our humanity, our vulnerability, and our capacity to stay in deep relationship with ourselves and the people around us. And what that might look like ”on a Tuesday afternoon”.

In this last solo episode of the season, I also share a bit about what is coming in season 2.

This is the kind of leadership practice I explore through my work with women leaders and changemakers: how to navigate complexity, responsibility, change, and the everyday demands of leadership without losing connection with yourself and the people around you. My approach to Embodied Leadership brings together leadership development, self-awareness, and somatic practices to support women who want to lead with more clarity, steadiness, purpose, and alignment.

If you are feeling stretched by your leadership role or longing for a more human and sustainable way to lead, you can explore my Embodied Leadership mentoring for women in midlife here.
