I was recently invited to join the Missing Witches podcast for a conversation that felt both gentle and radical. We spoke about somatic healing, trauma recovery, and how reconnecting with our bodies can quietly challenge the systems that keep us numb and frozen.
Disconnection from the body isn’t a personal flaw. It’s something many of us learned early — a survival strategy shaped by patriarchy, capitalism, and long-term stress or emotional neglect. In this episode, we talk about how to slowly return to ourselves, building safety in the nervous system and finding small, steady ways to feel alive again.
This is what I call somatic resourcing: noticing what truly nourishes you — the breath you didn’t realize you were holding, a quiet moment alone, the sunlight warming your skin. These are the beginnings of healing. They are also acts of resistance in a world that benefits from our exhaustion and disconnection.
