A More Human Way to Lead

I was recently a guest on Teresa Beehan’s Sensitive Professionals podcast for a conversation about leadership informed by being a highly sensitive human (HSP).

In our conversation Teresa and I talked about what it means to show up in our work and in our leadership in a human way; deeply rooted and tuned into our most authentic Self. How we can practice that, and what it looks like in our day-to-day.

We talked about slowing down, and what co-creation might look like if we allowed ourselves to slow down and check in with ourselves more often. What might we bring to the table then?

In this episode we talk about:

  • What it really means to lead from the body (and why it matters)
  • The power of slowing down, especially in fast-paced environments
  • How nervous system awareness changes the way we lead and relate
  • Why “bringing your whole self to work” is both radical and deeply human
  • The importance of tending to your needs (not just overriding them)

Reconnecting with Aliveness to Smash the Patriarchy

I joined Missing Witches to talk about somatic healing, trauma recovery, and the radical, quiet act of coming back to our bodies.

We explored how disconnection isn’t a personal flaw but something the world teaches us — and how gently returning to ourselves can quietly challenge the systems that keep us numb and frozen. We spoke about somatic resourcing, building safety, and finding small ways to feel alive again in a world that profits from our disconnection.
