I was recently a guest on Teresa Beehan’s Sensitive Professionals podcast, and it was such a joy. I am a big fan of spaces that center the highly sensitive (HSP) experience 🌱
In our conversation Teresa and I talked about what it means to show up in our work and in our leadership in a human way; deeply rooted and tuned into our most authentic Self. How we can practice that, and what it looks like in our day-to-day.
We talked about slowing down, and what co-creation might look like if we allowed ourselves to slow down and check in with ourselves more often. What might we bring to the table then? Thank you so much to Teresa for holding space for the HSP experience and perspective in such a beautiful way 🙏
In this episode we talk about:
- What it really means to lead from the body (and why it matters)
- The power of slowing down, especially in fast-paced environments
- How nervous system awareness changes the way we lead and relate
- Why “bringing your whole self to work” is both radical and deeply human
- The importance of tending to your needs (not just overriding them)
